Commissions

I do all sorts of commissions, from baby quilts to bed quilts to clothing (though generally only in person) to laptop cases to purses. If you're interested in commissioning something, get in touch with me using this handy form.

I'm also available as a blog consultant.

Charity Quilting

The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative--Priority Alzheimer's:

The AAQI is an excellent program which allows quilters to raise money for Alzheimer's research through submitting mini-art quilts for auction. The cause is particularly near to my heart since my grandfather died of complications of senile dementia.

Quilts for Comfort:

Quilts for Comfort is particularly local to Northern Delaware, where I used to live. They serve hospitals in DE, PA, and MD, providing quilts for preemies, at-risk babies, cancer patients, etc. Great bunch of ladies and a great idea for quilters to start up anywhere.

Reversible Butterfly iPod Case

Listed Here on Etsy for $15 plus $1.50 S&H.

I really like this case pattern, though I’m happier with the yellow butterfly than the orange one. The definition of the orange one’s wings doesn’t show up as well in the picture as I’d like. But if you buy the case, you can always stick with your favorite side ;)

 My favorite side:

My less-favorite side (but still kinda pretty):

And this shows you how the case looks when you flip it open:

The case fits an original iPod, or the iPod touch and iPhone. Or anything else that’s roughly its size.

I love butterflies–how they symbolically represent new life, how they’re such beautiful colors. Even their fragility is beautiful. I hope to do more such cases. :)
